AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 7-7-280, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO VOTING PRECINCTS IN GREENVILLE COUNTY, SO AS TO CHANGE THE POLLING PLACES FOR CERTAIN PRECINCTS.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Voting precincts-polling places

SECTION 1. The eleventh, ninety-second, one hundred thirteenth, and one hundred seventeenth paragraphs of Section 7-7-280 of the 1976 Code are amended to read:

"Precinct 11, Greenville consists of that area bounded on the north by the G & N Railroad, McDaniel Ave., River Dr., and Lakehurst St.; on the east by the Richland Creek and the Reedy River; on the south by Woodland Way, McDaniel Ave., and Crescent Ave.; and on the west by S. Church St. (Hwy. 29). The polling place for this precinct is Greenville County Square."

"Precinct 92, Meadow Wood, consists of that area bounded on the north by Devenger Rd. (Ridge Rd.); on the east by Boiling Springs Rd.; on the south by Pelham Rd.; and on the West by Bridlepath Ln., Vineyard Ln., Cross Creek Ln., Hillsborough Dr., and W. Castlewood Dr. The polling place for this precinct is Grier Memorial Presbyterian Church."

"Precinct 113, Simpsonville, consists of that area bounded on the north by W. Curtis St. and E. Curtis St.; on the east by the Simpsonville City limits; on the south by the Simpsonville City limits; and on the west by the Simpsonville City limits and Hwy. 276. The polling place for this precinct is Powderhorn Club House."

"Precinct 117, Ware Place, consists of that area bounded on the north by Piedmont Hwy. (Hwy. 20), McMahon Rd., McMahon Mill Rd., and W. Georgia Rd.; on the east by Reedy Fork Rd.; on the south by McKelvey Rd., Pearson Rd., the Mountain Creek, Stoddard Rd., a straight line from the intersection of Stoddard Rd. and Hwy 247 to the right fork of Grove Creek, and extends along the right fork of Grove Creek and Grove Creek; and on the West by the county line. The polling place for this precinct is South Greenville Fire District Office (old Burgess School)."
