AN ACT TO DIRECT THE DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS AND PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION TO CLOSE AND REMOVE FROM THE STATE HIGHWAY SYSTEM THAT PORTION OF ROAD S 28-52 FROM CAMDEN MILITARY ACADEMY PROPERTY LINE TO S 28-185 AND ALL OF ROAD S 28-731 IN KERSHAW COUNTY.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Roads in Kershaw County closed

SECTION 1. The Department of Highways and Public Transportation shall close and remove from the state highway system in Kershaw County:

(1) that portion of Road S 28-52 from the Camden Military Academy property line to the right-of-way of S 28-185;

(2) Road S 28-731 in its entirety.

After closing of the roads or portions of them as authorized by this act, Camden Military Academy may erect gates and signs on its side of the closed roads.

Time effective

SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
