AN ACT TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 50-11-2575 SO AS TO ALLOW THE USE OF SNARES FOR BEAVERS IN WATER-SETS.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Beaver snares

SECTION 1. The 1976 Code is amended by adding:

"Section 50-11-2575. The department may issue special depredation permits, at no cost to the applicant, to allow the use of snares for beavers in water-sets."

Time effective

SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
