AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 50-11-2100, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO FIELD TRIAL REGULATIONS, SO AS TO PROVIDE PENALTIES; AND TO REPEAL SECTION 50-9-110 RELATING TO FIELD TRIALS OF DOGS.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Field trials, penalties

SECTION 1. Section 50-11-2100 of the 1976 Code is amended by adding at the end:

"A person violating the provisions of these regulations is guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, must be fined not more than two hundred dollars or imprisoned for not more than thirty days for each offense."

Repeal

SECTION 2. Section 50-9-110 of the 1976 Code is repealed.

Time effective

SECTION 3. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
