A JOINT RESOLUTION TO NAME THE S. C. 9 BRIDGE CROSSING THE LITTLE PEE DEE RIVER IN DILLON COUNTY THE "SENATOR ROGER W. SCOTT MEMORIAL BRIDGE" AND TO DIRECT THE DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS AND PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION TO ERECT APPROPRIATE SIGNS AT BOTH ENDS OF THE BRIDGE ON WHICH THE NAME IS CLEARLY INDICATED.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Bridge named

SECTION 1. The S. C. 9 bridge crossing the Little Pee Dee River in Dillon County is named the "Senator Roger W. Scott Memorial Bridge". The Department of Highways and Public Transportation is directed to erect appropriate signs at both ends of the bridge on which the name is clearly indicated.

Time effective

SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
