A JOINT RESOLUTION TO PROVIDE THAT FOR WHITE KNOLL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IN LEXINGTON SCHOOL DISTRICT ONE, MONDAY, MAY 7, 1990, IS EXEMPTED FROM THE REQUIREMENT THAT DAYS MISSED AS A RESULT OF DAMAGE AND DISRUPTION TO THE NORMAL OPERATION OF A SCHOOL SYSTEM BE MADE UP BY THE STUDENTS.

Whereas, a water main to White Knoll Elementary School in Lexington School District One was damaged and there was no water at the school on Monday, May 7, 1990. Now, therefore,

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Missed school days exempted

SECTION 1. For White Knoll Elementary School in Lexington School District One, Monday, May 7, 1990, is exempted from the requirement that days missed as a result of damage and disruption to the normal operation of a school system be made up by the students.

Time effective

SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
