TO CONGRATULATE MR. W. CALVIN WHITE OF SPARTANBURG UPON HIS REELECTION FOR AN UNPRECEDENTED SEVENTH CONSECUTIVE TERM AS CHAIRMAN OF THE SOUTH CAROLINA REAL ESTATE COMMISSION.
Whereas, the members of the General Assembly are very pleased to learn that at the meeting of the South Carolina Real Estate Commission on March 18, 1992, W. Calvin White was elected to serve an unprecedented seventh term as chairman of the commission; and
Whereas, Calvin White is a prominent Spartanburg businessman, real estate broker, and realtor who has represented the Fourth Congressional District on the commission since 1977; and
Whereas, he is widely respected throughout South Carolina for his knowledge and intellect in his chosen field as well as for his unquestioned character and integrity; and
Whereas, he is a member of many professional and civic organizations including the National Association of Real Estate License Law Officials (NARELLO) and has been the recipient of many well-deserved honors and awards; and
Whereas, the State of South Carolina is fortunate to have unselfish citizens such as Mr. White give of their time and talent in public service with little or no financial reward; and
Whereas, the members of the General Assembly, by this resolution, would like to publicly recognize and congratulate this outstanding South Carolinian upon the occasion of his reelection to this important position. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the Senate, the House of Representatives concurring:
That the members of the General Assembly hereby
congratulate Mr. W. Calvin White of Spartanburg upon his reelection for an unprecedented seventh consecutive term as chairman of the South Carolina Real Estate Commission.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mr. White.
