A JOINT RESOLUTION TO PROVIDE THAT SCHOOL DAYS MISSED IN THE 1990 SCHOOL YEAR BY PUBLIC SCHOOL STUDENTS IN KERSHAW COUNTY WHEN SCHOOLS WERE CLOSED DUE TO FLOODING AND IMPASSABLE ROADS ARE EXEMPT FROM THE MAKE-UP REQUIREMENT OF THE DEFINED MINIMUM PLAN.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
School days missed in Kershaw County exempted
SECTION 1. School days missed in the 1990 school year by public school students in Kershaw County when schools were closed due to flooding and impassable roads are exempt from the make-up requirement of the defined minimum plan that full school days missed due to extreme weather or other circumstances be made up.
Time effective
SECTION 2. This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
