TO RECOGNIZE MR. H. MORRISON DAVIS FOR HIS MANY YEARS OF DEDICATED SERVICE AS A TRUSTEE ON THE BOARD OF SANTEE ELECTRIC COOPERATIVE, INC.
Whereas, Mr. H. Morrison Davis served as a trustee on the Board of Santee Electric Cooperative, Inc. from July 9, 1970, to April 9, 1991; and
Whereas, he served as assistant secretary-treasurer from 1974 to 1980 and as secretary-treasurer from 1980 to 1991; and
Whereas, Mr. Davis received "Directors Certification" from the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association in 1990 for successfully completing the focused, curriculum-based programs specifically designed for trustees of rural electric systems. This attests to his dedication to mastering the skills needed to perform effectively in his crucial role as director and as a leader of the rural electric program. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:
That the members of the General Assembly recognize Mr. H. Morrison Davis for his many years of dedicated service as a trustee on the board of Santee Electric Cooperative, Inc.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mr. Davis and Mr. Ed Whetsell, Vice President, Santee Cooper.
