A BILL

TO PROVIDE THAT ELECTIONS FOR SCHOOL DISTRICT BOARDS OF TRUSTEES IN ORANGEBURG COUNTY MUST BE HELD AT THE TIME OF THE GENERAL ELECTION.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION 1. Beginning in 1992, elections for school district boards of trustees in Orangeburg County must be held at the time of the general election.

SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
