A BILL

TO PROVIDE THAT THE BOARDS OF TRUSTEES OF THE YORK COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICTS MUST BE ELECTED FROM SINGLE MEMBER DISTRICTS.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION 1. The boards of trustees of the several school districts of York County must be elected from single member districts as set forth in this act.

SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
