AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 7-7-280, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO THE VOTING PRECINCTS AND POLLING PLACES IN GREENVILLE COUNTY, SO AS TO CHANGE THE POLLING PLACES FOR PRECINCT 30, JENNINGS MILL, PRECINCT 77, CHESTNUT HILLS, PRECINCT 80, PARAMOUNT, PRECINCT 86, WELLINGTON, AND PRECINCT 90, DEVENGER.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Polling place changed

SECTION 1. Precinct 30, Jennings Mill, as contained in Section 7-7-280 of the 1976 Code, is amended to read:

"Precinct 30, Jennings Mill, consists of that area bounded on the north by the state line; on the east by a straight line extending from the state line at a point one-half mile south of Rt. 41 to the north boundary of Pleasant Ridge State Park and the east boundary of Pleasant Ridge State Park; on the south by Hwy. 11, Hwy. 276, Blythe Shoals Rd. (Rt. 101), Rt. 124, and the county line; and on the west by the county line. The polling place for this precinct is Cleveland First Baptist Church."

SECTION 2. Precinct 77, Chestnut Hills, as contained in Section 7-7-280 of the 1976 Code, is amended to read:

"Precinct 77, Chestnut Hills, consists of that area bounded on the north by Washington Ave., Marue Dr., Simpson St., and W. Faris Rd.; on the east by Hwy. 20; on the south by White Horse Rd. (Hwy. 250); and on the west by Anderson Rd. (Hwy. 81). The polling place for this precinct is Greenview Elementary School."

SECTION 3. Precinct 80, Paramount, as contained in Section 7-7-280 of the 1976 Code, is amended to read:

"Precinct 80, Paramount, consists of that area bounded on the north by the Greenville city limits; on the east by the Greenville city limits; on the south by Hwy. I-85; and on the west by the Brushy Creek. The polling place for this precinct is Piedmont Manor Rental Office."

SECTION 4. Precinct 86, Wellington, as contained in Section 7-7-280 of the 1976 Code, is amended to read:

"Precinct 86, Wellington, consists of that area bounded on the north by Edwards Rd., an unnamed stream, and the Brushy Creek; on the east by E. North St. Ext.; on the south by E. North St. Ext.; and on the west by Howell Rd. and Imperial Dr. The polling place for this precinct is East North Street Baptist Church."

SECTION 5. Precinct 90, Devenger, as contained in Section 7-7-280 of the 1976 Code, is amended to read:

"Precinct 90, Devenger, consists of that area bounded on the north by Hudson Rd.; on the east by the Brushy Creek; on the south by Hwy. I-85 and Pelham Rd.; and on the west by Boiling Springs Rd., Devenger Rd. (Ridge Rd.), and Hudson Rd. The polling place for this precinct is St. Giles Presbyterian Church."

SECTION 6. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
