A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

TO CONGRATULATE MR. AND MRS. HERBERT HAYNES OF DORCHESTER COUNTY UPON THE UPCOMING CELEBRATION OF THEIR FIFTIETH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY.

Whereas, the members of the General Assembly were delighted to learn of the upcoming fiftieth wedding anniversary, March 7, 1992, of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Haynes; and

Whereas, the Haynes' moved to St. George in 1957 where they have lived since and they retired from their clothing business there in 1984; and

Whereas, Mr. and Mrs. Haynes are the parents of one daughter, two grandchildren, and one great grandchild; and

Whereas, Mr. and Mrs. Haynes are active in the Memorial Baptist Church where Mr. Haynes served as past deacon, chairman of the Budget Committee, and Director of Adult III Sunday School class; and

Whereas, the members of the General Assembly are honored to recognize these two individuals who have devoted their lives to one another. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That the members of the General Assembly congratulate Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Haynes of Dorchester County on the upcoming celebration of their fiftieth wedding anniversary.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Haynes, St. George, South Carolina.
