A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

TO EXPRESS THE SYMPATHY OF THE MEMBERS OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY TO THE FAMILY AND FRIENDS OF MS. LYNN GARRISON OF PICKENS WHO DIED ON FRIDAY, MARCH 6, 1992.

Whereas, the members of the General Assembly were deeply saddened to learn of the untimely death of Ms. Lynn Garrison of Pickens on Friday, March 6, 1992; and

Whereas, Ms. Garrison was an active and energetic young lady, who contributed much to Pickens County and South Carolina through her tireless efforts; and

Whereas, she was vice-chairperson of the Pickens County Republican Party; and

Whereas, she was actively involved in both the American Heart Association and the Pickens County Community Theater in leadership roles; and

Whereas, Ms. Garrison will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her; and

Whereas, the members of the General Assembly wish to express their heartfelt sympathies to her parents, David and Ruth Garrison, and to her numerous relatives and friends. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That the members of the General Assembly express their sympathy to the family and friends of Ms. Lynn Garrison of Pickens who died on Friday, March 6, 1992.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to her parents, Mr. and Mrs. David Garrison.
