TO APPROVE REGULATIONS OF THE SOUTH CAROLINA COASTAL COUNCIL, RELATING TO MARINAS, DESIGNATED AS REGULATION DOCUMENT NUMBER 1405, PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF ARTICLE 1, CHAPTER 23, TITLE 1 OF THE 1976 CODE.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. The regulations of the South Carolina Coastal Council, relating to marinas, designated as Regulation Document Number 1405, and submitted to the General Assembly pursuant to the provisions of Article 1, Chapter 23, Title 1 of the 1976 Code, are approved.
SECTION 2. This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.

These regulations will assist the affected public in complying with the Coastal Zone Management Act's permitting requirements for marinas and community docks. The regulations define marinas, describe how and where marinas will be permitted, address the standard conditions to be placed on marina permits, explain what information will be required in the Marina Operations and Maintenance Manual, address water quality considerations for marinas and contain standards for community docks.
