TO EXPRESS GRATITUDE TO THE HONORABLE RALPH H. BELL, JR. OF SUMMERTON FOR HIS YEARS OF DEDICATED AND DEVOTED SERVICE TO THE TOWN OF SUMMERTON.
Whereas, Mr. Ralph H. Bell, Jr., has served as a member of the Town Council of Summerton for sixteen years; and
Whereas, during twelve of those sixteen years, Mr. Bell served as Mayor Pro Tem; and
Whereas, Mayor Pro Tem Bell is well respected as a leader of his hometown and is respected on a nationwide basis; and
Whereas, Mayor Pro Tem Bell is a nationally recognized leader in the beef industry and has served as chairman of the South Carolina Beef Board and vice-chairman of the National Beef Board; and
Whereas, Mayor Pro Tem Bell is active in many civic organizations; and
Whereas, his service will never be forgotten by those who have worked with him. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:
That the members of the General Assembly express gratitude to The Honorable Ralph H. Bell, Jr., of Summerton for his years of dedicated and devoted service to the Town of Summerton.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mayor Pro Tem Bell.
