TO REPEAL A JOINT RESOLUTION OF 1992 BEARING RATIFICATION NUMBER 350 RELATING TO THE REQUIREMENT THAT THE DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS AND PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION INCLUDE RIVER GRAVEL IN ASPHALT USED IN PROJECTS APPROVED BY BID.
Whereas, it is the duty of the General Assembly to adopt legislation for the benefit of the State as a whole; and
Whereas, the General Assembly should not engage in activities directly affecting the business affairs involving private industry to the detriment of the State. Now, therefore,
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. A Joint Resolution of 1992 bearing Ratification Number 350 is repealed.
SECTION 2. This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
