"Section 50-21-180. Plans to improve existing public boating access facilities or to construct new facilities must be based on an appropriate boating needs assessment study by the Wildlife and Marine Resources Department and must be designed to meet the identified need in accordance with recognized engineering design for the facilities. Reasonable measures must be taken to avoid and minimize impact to the environment including, but not limited to, appropriate erosion control and stormwater management to the extent the measures are consistent with the intended use of the facility.
