AN ACT TO AMEND ACT 1839 OF 1972 TO CHANGE THE NAME OF THE PIEDMONT SEWER, LIGHT AND FIRE DISTRICT OF ANDERSON AND GREENVILLE COUNTIES TO THE PIEDMONT PUBLIC SERVICE DISTRICT OF ANDERSON AND GREENVILLE COUNTIES.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
Name changed
SECTION 1. Section 1 of Act 1839 of 1972, which amended Act 389 of 1955, is amended so that the Piedmont Sewer, Light and Fire District of Anderson and Greenville Counties shall hereafter be known as the Piedmont Public Service District of Anderson and Greenville Counties.
Time effective
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
