A SENATE RESOLUTION

TO EXTEND THE SYMPATHY OF THE MEMBERS OF THE SENATE TO THE FAMILY AND FRIENDS OF MRS. YETTA KIRSH OF YORK COUNTY WHO DIED ON MONDAY, JANUARY 21, 1991.

Whereas, the members of the Senate were saddened to learn of the death of Mrs. Yetta Kirsh, mother of our dear friend, The Honorable Herbert Kirsh, on Monday, January 21, 1991; and

Whereas, Mrs. Kirsh was born in New York City and had lived in Clover for fifty-three years; and

Whereas, with her late husband, Isadore Kirsh, they started Kirsh Department Store in 1937 which remains today as one of Clover's oldest business establishments; and

Whereas, Mrs. Kirsh's passing leaves a void which will not easily be filled. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the Senate:

That the members of the Senate extend their sympathy to the family and friends of Mrs. Yetta Kirsh of York County who died on Monday, January 21, 1991.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to The Honorable Herbert Kirsh.
