A JOINT RESOLUTION TO PROVIDE THAT FOR THE 1990-91 SCHOOL YEAR, HICKORY TAVERN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, LOCATED IN LAURENS COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT 55, IS EXEMPTED FROM THE REQUIREMENT THAT DAYS MISSED BE MADE UP AS A RESULT OF A FIRE AND ASBESTOS CONTAMINATION AT THE SCHOOL.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
Hickory Tavern Elementary School exempt from some make-up days
SECTION 1. For the 1990-91 school year, Hickory Tavern Elementary School, located in Laurens County School District 55, is exempted from the requirement that public schools make up days missed for a total of four out of eight days missed due to a fire at the school and subsequent asbestos contamination. The remaining four days must be made up by the school.
Time effective
SECTION 2. This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
