AN ACT TO AMEND ACT 710 OF 1978, RELATING TO THE AUTHORITY OF THE TRUSTEES OF SCHOOL DISTRICT 45 IN BARNWELL COUNTY TO CHARGE STUDENT FEES, SO AS TO DELETE THE REQUIREMENT THAT THESE FEES MUST RECEIVE WRITTEN PRIOR APPROVAL OF THE COUNTY COUNCIL.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Student fee

SECTION 1. Section 1 of Act 710 of 1978, is amended to read:

"Section 1. The trustees of School District 45 of Barnwell County are authorized to charge student fees, not to exceed thirty-five dollars per student, pursuant to the provisions of item (8) of Section 59-19-90 of the 1976 Code."

Time effective

SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
