A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

TO CONGRATULATE NEWBERRY COUNTY DAIRY FARMER, JAMES W. KESLER, UPON RECEIVING THE 1993 HONORS AWARD OF THE SOUTH CAROLINA JERSEY CATTLE CLUB.

Whereas, the members of the General Assembly are very pleased to learn that Newberry County dairy farmer, James W. Kesler, was the recipient of the 1993 Honors Award of the South Carolina Jersey Cattle Club; and

Whereas, Jimmy Kesler is a co-owner and principal in the Trinity Farm in Newberry County where he has demonstrated tremendous ability to breed, feed, and manage dairy cattle; and

Whereas, the outstanding herd of the Trinity Farm has ranked in the top ten in the nation in their size category for many years; and

Whereas, Jimmy Kesler is also actively involved in the Newberry community and is a member and past president of the Silverstreet Young Farmers, chief of the Silverstreet Volunteer Fire Department, a Mason and member of the Shrine, and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, where he is a member of the Administrative Board and sings in the choir; and

Whereas, the members of the General Assembly, by this resolution, would like to publicly recognize and congratulate this outstanding South Carolinian upon the occasion of his receipt of this truly deserved award. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That the members of the General Assembly hereby congratulate Newberry County dairy farmer, James W. Kesler, upon receiving the 1993 Honors Award of the South Carolina Jersey Cattle Club.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mr. Kesler.
