TO AMEND CHAPTER 21 OF TITLE 12, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO BUSINESS LICENSE TAX, BY ADDING ARTICLE 24 SO AS TO REGULATE BINGO GAMES; AND TO REPEAL ARTICLE 23, CHAPTER 21, TITLE 12, RELATING TO REGULATION OF BINGO GAMES.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. Chapter 21, Title 12 of the 1976 Code is amended by adding:
Section 12-21-3710. This article may be cited as the Bingo Tax of 1993."
SECTION 2. Article 23, Chapter 21, Title 12 of the 1976 Code is repealed.
SECTION 3. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
