TO CONGRATULATE T. L. HANNA HIGH SCHOOL BOYS' TRACK TEAM OF ANDERSON UPON WINNING THE 1993 STATE AAA TRACK AND FIELD CHAMPIONSHIP.
Whereas, the T. L. Hanna Boys' Track Team edged Region 1-AAA rival Seneca for the team title; and
Whereas, crucial points were scored in the hurdles when the race had to be rerun giving Hanna a second opportunity to win, putting the team within two points of Seneca; and
Whereas, the team won the title after its runners placed first and second in the two-mile race; and
Whereas, Coach Larry Clark was thrilled to win a championship in his first year of coaching; and
Whereas, two members of the team were named to the South Carolina Allstate Track and Field Team; and
Whereas, the team worked hard to obtain the championship. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:
That the members of the General Assembly congratulate T. L. Hanna High School Boys' Track Team of Anderson upon winning the 1993 State AAA Track and Field Championship.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the T. L. Hanna High School Boys' Track Team.
