A JOINT RESOLUTION TO EXEMPT THE SCHOOL SUPERINTENDENT OF LAURENS SCHOOL DISTRICT 56 FROM THE MINIMUM SALARY REQUIREMENT OF THE DEFINED MINIMUM PROGRAM FOR SO LONG AS THE SUPERINTENDENT OF THE DISTRICT IS A REEMPLOYED RETIREE OF THE SOUTH CAROLINA RETIREMENT SYSTEM.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
Salary requirement inapplicable
SECTION 1. The minimum salary requirement of the Defined Minimum Program promulgated pursuant to Regulation 43-130 of the South Carolina Code of Regulations does not apply with respect to the salary paid the superintendent of Laurens County School District 56 so long as the superintendent of the district is a reemployed retiree of the South Carolina Retirement System.
Time effective
SECTION 2. This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
