A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

EXPRESSING THE SORROW OF THE MEMBERS OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY AT THE DEATH OF FORMER REPRESENTATIVE W.N. "BILL" CLINKSCALES OF BELTON, AND EXTENDING SYMPATHY TO HIS FAMILY AND MANY FRIENDS.

Whereas, the Honorable W.N. "Bill" Clinkscales, former member of the South Carolina House of Representatives from Anderson County, died on May 8, 1994, at the age of eighty-nine; and

Whereas, he was born in Anderson County and retired as a farmer; and

Whereas, he was a Redman and a member of the Belton Masonic Lodge, Anderson Elks Lodge 1206, Woodmen of the World, and Barkers Creek Baptist Church; and

Whereas, we want his family to know that they are in our thoughts and have our deepest sympathy. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That the members of the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution express sorrow at the death of former Representative W.N. "Bill" Clinkscales of Belton and extend sympathy to his family and many friends.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the Clinkscales family.
