A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

TO CONGRATULATE LOIS RIVERS WYLOT ON THE OCCASION OF HER RETIREMENT FROM THE CHARLESTON COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT.

Whereas, the members of the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina, have learned with regret that Lois Rivers Wylot, one of Charleston County School District's most dedicated school teachers, is retiring at the end of this school year; and

Whereas, she has taught school for the past thirty-four years, epitomizing the spirit of a true winner by her willingness to help others, and always giving her best; and

Whereas, mixed feelings arise because Lois Wylot's retirement will be a great loss to the students and staff of A. C. Corcoran Elementary School as well as to the Charleston County School District; and

Whereas, she is well known and will be fondly remembered for her dedication, her unending patience, her professional demeanor, and her willingness to go the extra mile to assist her students. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That the South Carolina General Assembly extends its best wishes and heartfelt congratulations to Lois Rivers Wylot for her many years of exemplary service to the profession of teaching.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Lois Rivers Wylot.
