A SENATE RESOLUTION

CONGRATULATING THE PRESBYTERIAN COLLEGE BLUE HOSE MEN'S BASKETBALL TEAM ON AN OUTSTANDING 1992-93 SEASON, THE BEST IN THE STATE OF S.C.

Whereas, the Presbyterian College Blue Hose men's basketball team set a school record for most victories in a season with a 27-5 record in 1992-93; and

Whereas, the Blue Hose won the regular season championship in the South Atlantic Conference (SAC-8) and earned the school's highest national ranking, finishing the season ranked seventh in the nation among NAIA schools; and

Whereas, in addition, in its final season as an NAIA school, Presbyterian College earned its first invitation to the storied NAIA Tournament in Kansas City, Missouri; and

Whereas, the members of this record-setting Presbyterian College team and Head Coach Gregg Niebert and his fine staff are highly deserving of recognition for their accomplishments. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the Senate:

That the Senate, by this resolution, congratulates the Presbyterian College Blue Hose men's basketball team on an outstanding 1992-93 season, the best in the State of S.C.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the Presbyterian College men's basketball team and coaching staff, in care of Head Coach Gregg Niebert, at Clinton.
