The Senate assembled at 10:00 A.M., the hour to which it stood adjourned and was called to order by the ACTING PRESIDENT, Senator GIESE.

INTRODUCTION OF BILLS AND RESOLUTIONS

The following were introduced:

S. 833 -- Senator Macaulay: A SENATE RESOLUTION TO RECOGNIZE WALTER B. PURCELL UPON HIS RETIREMENT AS DIRECTOR OF THE OCONEE COUNTY EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS AGENCY AND TO WISH HIM WELL IN HIS FUTURE ENDEAVORS.

On immediate consideration, the Senate Resolution was adopted.

S. 834 -- Senator Macaulay: A SENATE RESOLUTION TO RECOGNIZE MS. MARGARET ANN LECROY UPON HER RETIREMENT FROM SERVICE WITH OCONEE COUNTY AND TO WISH HER WELL IN HER FUTURE ENDEAVORS.

On immediate consideration, the Senate Resolution was adopted.

ADJOURNMENT

Pursuant to the provisions of the motion by Senator WILLIAMS, at 10:06 A.M., Senator COURSON moved that the Senate stand adjourned and, pursuant to the provisions of S. 803, the Senate stood adjourned to meet in statewide session at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, June 25, 1993, for the exclusive purpose of the consideration of gubernatorial vetoes and continue in session thereafter, as necessary, to adjourn Sine Die not later than 5:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 29, 1993.
