7        supplement appropriations made for the expenses of State government in the annual general
8        appropriation act for fiscal year 1996-97, to the extent there are fiscal year 1995-96
9        unobligated surplus revenues available in addition to those appropriated pursuant to Part V

(A) The appropriations contained in Section 1 of this Part are listed in 22 priority order beginning with Item (1) and to the extent that there are unobligated surplus 23 revenues for the Fiscal Year 1995-96 after funding all appropriations in Part V of this act, 24 each separate appropriation item or subitem in Section 1 must be funded before the next item 25 or subitem in order is paid. 26 (B) Unexpended funds appropriated pursuant to this Part may be carried forward to 27 succeeding fiscal years and expended for the same purposes. 28 29 SECTION 3. Except where otherwise provided, this Part takes effect upon approval by the 30 Governor, but no appropriation in Section 2 may be paid until the Comptroller General closes 31 the state's books on fiscal year 1995-96. 32 33 End of Part VI 34 35 36 All Acts or parts of Acts inconsistent with any of the provisions of Part I, Part III, Part 37 IV, Part V or Part VI of this Act are hereby suspended for the Fiscal Year 1996-97. 38 All Acts or parts of Acts inconsistent with any of the provisions of Part II of this Act are 39 hereby repealed. 40 Except as otherwise specifically provided herein this Act shall take effect immediately 41 upon its approval by the Governor.
