A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

EXPRESSING THE SORROW OF THE MEMBERS OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY AT THE DEATH OF ROBERT EUGENE HOPPER OF YORK COUNTY AND EXTENDING SYMPATHY TO HIS FAMILY AND FRIENDS.

Whereas, Robert Eugene Hopper of 50 Heritage Drive, River Hills Plantation, Lake Wylie in York County died on February 6, 1996 at the age of sixty-five; and

Whereas, Mr. Hopper was a distinguished and successful businessman and headed Robert Hopper & Associates at Lake Wylie; and

Whereas, he was an outstanding individual who contributed his time, talent, energy, and resources to the betterment of his community and he will be missed greatly. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the Senate, the House of Representatives concurring:

That the members of the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, express sorrow at the death of Robert Eugene Hopper of York County and extend sympathy to his family and friends.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mr. Hopper's family.
