A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

TO COMMEND MR. W. H. "HAM" HUDSON, PRESIDENT OF OCONEE MEMORIAL HOSPITAL, FOR HIS OUTSTANDING LEADERSHIP OF THIS FINE HEALTH CARE FACILITY AND FOR HIS DEDICATED SERVICE TO HIS COMMUNITY AND PROFESSION.

Whereas, the members of the General Assembly believe that Mr. W. H. "Ham" Hudson, President of Oconee Memorial Hospital, is one of the most distinguished health care professionals in South Carolina; and

Whereas, Ham Hudson has served continuously as President of Oconee Memorial Hospital since May 31, 1971, building this fine health care facility into one which has served the needs of the people of Oconee County and the upstate region of South Carolina with compassion, professionalism, and distinction; and

Whereas, his dedication, perseverance, and vision for more than a quarter of a century have resulted in significant growth and success of this hospital, and his leadership of the hospital, without question, has resulted in greater access to quality health services and improvement to the quality of life for the community; and

Whereas, the members of the General Assembly, by this resolution, would like to publicly recognize and thank this truly outstanding man for his dedicated service to his profession and his community and wish him Godspeed as he continues his work which benefits the lives of so many South Carolinians. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That the members of the General Assembly hereby commend Mr. W. H. "Ham" Hudson, President of Oconee Memorial Hospital, for his outstanding leadership of this fine health care facility and for his dedicated service to his community and profession.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mr. Hudson.
