A JOINT RESOLUTION

TO DISAPPROVE REGULATIONS OF THE BOARD OF EDUCATION, RELATING TO ADMINISTRATIVE PERSONNEL COMPENSATION GUIDE AND CONTRACTS (REPEAL), DESIGNATED AS REGULATION DOCUMENT NUMBER 1939, PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF ARTICLE 1, CHAPTER 23, TITLE 1 OF THE 1976 CODE.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION 1. The regulations of the Board of Education, relating to administrative personnel compensation guide and contracts (repeal), designated as Regulation Document Number 1939, and submitted to the General Assembly pursuant to the provisions of Article 1, Chapter 23, Title 1 of the 1976 Code, are disapproved.

SECTION 2. This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.

SUMMARY AS SUBMITTED BY PROMULGATING AGENCY.

This regulation requires a principal to be highest paid on campus. This regulation is proposed for repeal; however, the entire text is to be merged into proposed amended State Board of Education Regulation R43-205 (Administrative and Professional Personnel Qualifications, Duties and Workloads).
