AN ACT TO AMEND ACT 898 OF 1966, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO THE PACOLET STATION FIRE DISTRICT IN SPARTANBURG COUNTY, SO AS TO INCREASE THE MEMBERS OF THE BOARD OF FIRE CONTROL FOR THE DISTRICT FROM FIVE TO SEVEN.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION 1. The first paragraph of Section 4 of Act 898 of 1966 is amended to read:
"After the creation of the Pacolet Station Fire District, there is established a Board of Fire Control for the district to be composed of seven members who must be appointed by the Governor upon the recommendation of a majority of the Spartanburg County Legislative Delegation. The members of the board shall serve without pay and shall file annually a report with the Spartanburg County Board of Control not later than the first of November of each year, showing all activities and disbursements made by the board during the year."
