TO AMEND SECTION 8-13-1120, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO THE STATEMENT OF ECONOMIC INTERESTS, SO AS TO REQUIRE IT TO BE FILED ELECTRONICALLY WHEN POSSIBLE.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. The first paragraph of Section 8-13-1120(A), as last amended by Act 6 of 1995, is further amended to read:
"(A) A statement of economic interests filed pursuant to Section 8-13-1110 must be filed electronically, or if electronic means is not available as certified by the filer, on forms prescribed by the State Ethics Commission and must contain full and complete information concerning:"
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
