AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 7-7-110, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO VOTING PRECINCTS IN BEAUFORT COUNTY, SO AS TO REDESIGNATE THESE PRECINCTS AND DESIGNATE A MAP NUMBER ON WHICH THE LINES OF THESE PRECINCTS ARE DELINEATED.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Precincts redesignated

SECTION 1. Section 7-7-110 of the 1976 Code, as last amended by Act 245 of 1996, is further amended to read:

Section 7-7-110. (A) In Beaufort County there are the following voting precincts:

(B) The precinct lines defining the above precincts are as shown on the official map prepared by and on file with the Division of Research and Statistical Services of the Budget and Control Board designated as document P-1398 and as shown on certified copies of the official map provided to the State Election Commission and the Beaufort County Board of Voter Registration by the Division of Research and Statistical Services.

(C) The polling places for the above precincts must be determined by the Beaufort County Election Commission with the approval of a majority of the Beaufort County Legislative Delegation.

Time effective

SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
