AN ACT TO AMEND ACT 178 OF 1999, RELATING TO THE BERKELEY COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT SCHOOL BOND-PROPERTY TAX RELIEF ACT, BY REPEALING SECTION 9, RELATING TO A REFERENDUM ON A SPECIAL ONE PERCENT SALES AND USE TAX FOR NOT MORE THAN TWENTY YEARS IN BERKELEY COUNTY.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
Repeal
SECTION 1. Section 9 of Act 178 of 1999 is repealed.
Time effective
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
Ratified the 26th day of April, 2000.
Approved the 1st day of May, 2000.
