AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 7-7-465, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO THE DESIGNATION OF VOTING PRECINCTS IN RICHLAND COUNTY, SO AS TO ESTABLISH NEW PRECINCTS AND RENAME CERTAIN EXISTING PRECINCTS.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
Designation of voting precincts in Richland County
SECTION 1. Section 7-7-465 of the 1976 Code, as last amended by Act 127 of 1995, is further amended to read:
"Section 7-7-465. (A) In Richland County there are the following voting precincts:

(B) The precinct lines defining the precincts provided in subsection (A) are as shown on the official map prepared by and on file with the Division of Research and Statistical Services of the South Carolina Budget and Control Board designated as document P-7999 and as shown on certified copies of the official map provided to the State Election Commission and the Richland County Board of Voter Registration by the Division of Research and Statistical Services."
Time effective
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
Ratified the 26th day of May, 1999.
