A BILL

TO AMEND SECTION 1-11-720, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO ENTITIES ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE STATE HEALTH AND DENTAL INSURANCE PLANS, SO AS TO EXTEND ELIGIBILITY TO SOIL AND WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICTS.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION 1. Section 1-11-720(A) of the 1976 Code, as last amended by Act 100 of 1999, is further amended by adding a new item at the end:

"(19) soil and water conservation districts established pursuant to Title 48, Chapter 9."

SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
