A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

TO REQUEST THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION TO NAME A PORTION OF SOUTH CAROLINA HIGHWAY 301 IN DILLON COUNTY AS THE "EUNICE JONES MEMORIAL HIGHWAY" IN MEMORY OF THE LATE MRS. EUNICE JONES, A DISTINGUISHED CITIZEN OF DILLON COUNTY.

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That the members of the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina request that the Department of Transportation name that portion of South Carolina Highway 301 south, beginning at the city limits of Dillon and ending at the city limits of Latta, as the "Eunice Jones Memorial Highway". The department is requested to install appropriate markers or signs at places the department considers advisable containing the words "Eunice Jones Memorial Highway".

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the Department of Transportation and to the family of the late Mrs. Eunice Jones.
