A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

TO COMMEND AND CONGRATULATE GLENDA H. REEVES OF CHESTER COUNTY FOR HER MANY YEARS OF DEDICATED SERVICE AS A DILIGENT AND EFFECTIVE EMPLOYEE OF THE DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES ON THE OCCASION OF HER RETIREMENT, AND TO WISH HER MUCH SUCCESS AND HAPPINESS IN THE YEARS TO COME.

Whereas, the members of the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina sincerely commend Glenda H. Reeves who retired from the Chester County Department of Social Services after twenty-three years of compassionate service as a caseworker in Child Protective Services; and

Whereas, throughout her career, Ms. Reeves demonstrated compassion and dedication to the children in her tireless investigation of allegations of child abuse and neglect; and

Whereas, Ms. Reeves was devoted to working diligently with families to help them develop and improve their ability to care adequately for their children; and

Whereas, Glenda Reeves continuously maintained a high quality of casework and an inspiring level of professionalism, and the Chester County Department of Social Services will greatly miss her guidance, support, and skill; and

Whereas, the many citizens of Chester County and the State of South Carolina are indebted to Ms. Reeves for her outstanding contributions to the youth, families, and other citizens privileged to know her. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That the members of the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, commend and congratulate Glenda H. Reeves of Chester County for her many years of dedicated service as a diligent and effective employee of the Department of Social Services on the occasion of her retirement and wish her much success and happiness in the years to come.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Glenda H. Reeves of Chester County.
