AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 40-23-300, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO VARIOUS ENVIRONMENTAL SYSTEMS OPERATOR CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE CLASSIFICATIONS AND QUALIFICATIONS, SO AS TO INCLUDE REQUIREMENTS FOR LICENSURE AS A BOTTLED WATER CLASS OPERATOR.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
Bottled Water Class Operator licensure requirements
SECTION 1. Section 40-23-300(B) of the 1976 Code, as last amended by an act of 2002, bearing ratification number 201, is further amended by adding at the end:
"(7) To be licensed as a Bottled Water Class Operator, an applicant must:
(a) pass an examination approved by the board;
(b) have completed high school or the equivalent; and
(c) submit an application on forms approved by the board and the prescribed fee."
Time effective
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
Ratified the 28th day of May, 2002.
Approved the 3rd day of June, 2002.
