A HOUSE RESOLUTION

TO CONGRATULATE THE DUTCH FORK HIGH SCHOOL CHEERLEADING TEAM OF LEXINGTON AND RICHLAND COUNTIES ON ITS THIRD STRAIGHT CLASS AAAA STATE CHAMPIONSHIP.

Whereas, the Dutch Fork High School Cheerleading Team of Lexington and Richland Counties has tumbled, lifted, kicked, and cartwheeled its way to a third straight Class AAAA State Championship; and

Whereas, the squad's spirit and enthusiasm have become legendary in cheerleading circles for setting the standard for squads across the State; and

Whereas, Coach Sherri M. Kirkland demands and receives exceptional discipline and dedication from the team members, who are: Annabell Barnhart, Kaycle Smith, Blaine Reedy, Emily Geiger, Colby Wells, Sam Stahl, Heath Whitmer, Kendall Robinson, April Davison, Lindsay Study, Kassie Moore, Elizabeth Martin, Stephanie Johns, Courtney Stewart, Brannon Rutherford, Chelsea Howard, and Anya Sternenberg; and

Whereas, Dutch Fork High School and its principal Ron Cowden are commended for its attention to excellence in every area of school life. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:

That the members of the House of Representatives congratulate the Dutch Fork High School Cheerleading Team of Lexington and Richland Counties on its third straight Class AAAA State Championship.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Dutch Fork High School.
