A BILL

TO AMEND ACT 526 OF 1996, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO THE ORANGEBURG COUNTY CONSOLIDATED SCHOOL DISTRICTS, THE ELECTIONS OF BOARDS OF TRUSTEES OF THESE DISTRICTS AND THEIR POWERS AND DUTIES, THE ELECTION OF THE ORANGEBURG COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCATION AND ITS POWERS AND DUTIES, THE AUTHORITY AND PROCEDURES FOR LEVYING, COLLECTING, AND DISBURSING MILLAGE, SO AS REVISE CERTAIN POWERS AND DUTIES AND CERTAIN PROCEDURES FOR LEVYING, COLLECTING, AND DISBURSING MILLAGE.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION    1.    Act 526 of 1996, as last amended by Act 150 of 2001, is further amended to read:

SECTION    2.    This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
