TO AMEND SECTION 7-7-450, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO VOTING PRECINCTS IN PICKENS COUNTY, SO AS TO REDESIGNATE CERTAIN PRECINCTS AND DESIGNATE A MAP NUMBER ON WHICH LINES OF THESE PRECINCTS ARE DELINEATED.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. Section 7-7-450 of the 1976 Code, as last amended by Act 228 of 1996, is further amended to read:
"Section 7-7-450. (A) In Pickens County there are the following voting precincts:

(B) The precinct lines defining the above precincts are as shown on official maps on file with the Division Office of Research and Statistical Services of the Budget and Control Board designated as document P-7796 P-77-01 and as shown on certified copies provided to the State Election Commission and the Pickens County Board of Voter Registration by the division office.
(C) The polling places for the precincts provided in this section must be established by the Pickens County Registration and Elections Commission subject to the approval of the majority of the Pickens County Legislative Delegation."
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
