A JOINT RESOLUTION TO PROVIDE THAT THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF FORT MILL SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 4 FOR SCHOOL YEAR 2003-04 IS AUTHORIZED TO FORGIVE UP TO THREE SCHOOL DAYS MISSED BY ANY SCHOOL OF THE DISTRICT BECAUSE OF SNOW, ICE, OR EXTREME WEATHER CONDITIONS.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
Missed school days forgiven
SECTION 1. Pursuant to Section 59-1-430(B) of the 1976 Code, the Board of Trustees of Fort Mill School District No. 4 for school year 2003-04 is authorized to forgive up to three school days missed by any school of the district because of snow, ice, or extreme weather conditions. If the board forgives these school days missed, the requirements of Section 59-1-430(B) must be met.
Time effective
SECTION 2. This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
Ratified the 20th day of April, 2004.
Approved the 22nd day of April, 2004.
