A BILL

TO AMEND SECTION 1-11-720, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO ENTITIES WHOSE EMPLOYEES ARE ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE STATE HEALTH AND DENTAL INSURANCE PLAN, SO AS TO INCLUDE THE GIFT OF LIFE TRUST FUND.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION    1.    Section 1-11-720(A) of the 1976 Code, as last amended by Act 377 of 2000, is further amended by adding an appropriately numbered item at the end to read:

"( )    the Gift of Life Trust Fund established pursuant to Article 15, Chapter 43, Title 44."

SECTION    2.    This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
