Whereas, the members of the House of Representatives applaud Miss Rebecca Hunter for her tireless efforts in making South Carolina a safer place for our families; and

Whereas, Miss South Carolina Crime Stoppers has given many hours of her time, often requiring much extra effort to achieve her academic and civic goals as a high school senior; and

Whereas, during her travels around this great State visiting local Crime Stoppers programs, discussing Crime Stoppers topics with the media, or promoting Crime Stoppers in our middle and high schools, she has represented South Carolina Crime Stoppers as its spokesperson in the finest traditions, demonstrating both compassion for her fellow citizens and concern for our state's law enforcement officers; and

Whereas, during her service, Miss Hunter has continued to inform the public that "Crime Stoppers wants your information not your name", and that anonymous Crime Stoppers may receive a reward of up to one thousand dollars for information that leads to an arrest or recovery of stolen property or narcotics; and

Whereas, the members of the House of Representatives, by this resolution, recognize and commend Miss South Carolina Crime Stoppers, Rebecca Hunter. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:
