A JOINT RESOLUTION TO PROVIDE THAT FOR THE YEAR 2004 ONLY, THE SHAD SEASON IN GAME ZONE 9 IS EXTENDED UNTIL APRIL 15, 2004, EXCEPT THAT THE SHAD SEASON IN THE ATLANTIC OCEAN TERRITORIAL SEA IS NOT EXTENDED.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Shad season extended in Game Zone 9; exception

SECTION    1.    Notwithstanding any other provision of law, for the year 2004 only, the shad season in Game Zone 9 is extended until April 15, 2004, provided, however, the shad season in the Atlantic Ocean territorial sea is not extended.

Time effective

SECTION    2.    This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.

Ratified the 20th day of April, 2004.
